简介

β-紫罗兰酮[4-(2,6,6-三甲基-1-环己烯基)-3-丁烯-2-酮，β-ionone]是一种名贵的香料，自身还具有一定的生物活性，表现出较强的抗癌作用，特别是对肿瘤的发生有明显的抑制作用。

应用

beta-紫罗兰酮在工业上应用广泛，是一种相当重要的医药中间体，是合成维生素A、E、β-胡萝卜素、类胡萝卜素、视黄酸和叶绿醇等的重要原料。

生物活性

β-Ionone 可从植物油中分离，可有效诱导胃腺癌细胞 SGC7901 凋亡 (apoptosis)。具有抗肿瘤活性。

体外研究

β-Ionone is an analog of β-carotenoids which widely distributed in fruit and vegetables. β-ionone (25, 50, 100 and 200 μM; for 24 and 48 h) inhibits SGC-7901 cell line growth. The measured IC 50 value is 89 μM.
